Programs In Development

Big Others

Big Others was developed based on a number of patients and community members stating the need for community and connection during the beginning stages of transition. Big Others aims to provide mentorship, community and connection by pairing up transgender/gender diverse folks who have experienced transition with transgender/gender-diverse folks who are just beginning their transitions

We are currently accepting both mentor and mentee applications! Apply below!

QUeer/trans People of color (QTPOC)health index

Queer/Trans People of Color (QTPOC) Health Index was created based on seeing the increased health disparities that QTPOC experience. A survey was created to hear from self-identified QTPOC folks where the gaps in their health care are and how can we help fill them? A QTPOC Health Program will be developed from this information in a collaborative fashion with our POC community members and partners

Residency and internship program

Equi’s Residency and Internship program was created in response to the lack of providers and health care professionals who understand and practice culturally and gender-affirming care. The primary goal of this program is to provide hands-on training for providers and folks interested in health care. This will expand the network of providers and health care staff comprehensively trained in providing culturally and gender-affirming care for the LGBTQAI2S community

Internships are available, but limited at this time. Please inquire for details.
