Elliott Grey Strangehart (they/them/theirs) was a passionate member of the queer community. They were a queer, transgender, non binary, person of color, and artist who fell in love with Portland.
They believed in living life authentically and that all lives are equal. Access to good, affordable care for mental or physical health from humans with the same beliefs as theirs often proved to be a challenge. Throughout Elliott’s transition and life in general, even when healthcare was accessible it didn’t always feel like a safe space. They believed that access to safe, affordable health care is a right that everyone has and that it shouldn’t be a challenge to find.
